Coppermoor Cottage nestles into the hillside just above the idyllic village of Horrabridge. It is the perfect place to explore Dartmoor National Park, the Tamar Valley, the coast around Plymouth or pop across the border to Cornwall.
Beautifully decorated to the highest standard, Coppermoor provides a comfortable retreat whatever the time of year. Throw open the French doors and dine al fresco or enjoy the wood burning stove when the autumnal evenings draw in.
Dartmoor is an amazing place to visit every season of the year. The fabulous spring flowers, the amazing autumn colours and the summer days to wild swim or go horse riding on the moor. If you're keen on photography, winter is simply stunning.
Coppermoor is located on the edge of the vibrant village of Horrabridge. This means that all year round you will find a village shop and post office, a wonderful traditional bakery, a delightful art gallery, a famous chippie - and, not one, but two pubs. All a short five-minute walk away.
The moors and downs of Dartmoor are accessible in less than fifteen minutes on foot from the front door. Accessed on peaceful footpaths and a short stretch of quiet country lane, Dartmoor National Park opens up for your exploration.
Tavistock, World Heritage Site, is only four miles away and the Ocean City, Plymouth, is just ten miles. You can enjoy the moor, the rivers, the coast, the historic towns and the seaside city all within easy reach. Something for everyone whatever the weather!
Coppermoor is the perfect choice for couples or families - ideal for a romantic getaway, a walking holiday with friends or a much-needed short break for the family.
And Coppermoor is dog-friendly, too. Well-behaved dogs (maximum two) are most welcome and will undoubtedly enjoy the gardens back and front, which are both fully enclosed.
Horrabridge is well-served by buses so it is possible to leave your car at home, jump on the train to Plymouth and pick up a bus to within a five-minute walk to the property. If you decide to come by car, there is parking for two medium-sized cars.
